Steve is a fan of the show and now a personal friend of mine who I met on Bluesky! He retired from his job as the managing dean of a community college campus in California and now lives in western Kentucky with his husband of 25 years. He’s working on his first novel and he said ‘ginormous’ IS a portmanteau!

Kevin Shoberg 

Kevin sent us a selfie right after listening to last week’s show on his daily 10,000 step walk he does at sunrise! He lives in the desert, with a man-made lake. He enjoy Hawaiian music on Pandora for its spirit of aloha, and of course the Twist Podcast!

Kevin says, “”You mentioned how it’s hard to get a lower calorie option for iced coffee. I end every morning walk at my neighborhood McDonalds and using my app, under Deals, I get a large Sugar free Vanilla Iced Coffee for just $.99 cents!” He just turned 69 and he has a partner of 35 years. Homebodies but they have a Thanksgiving cruise tto Hawaii coming up. He congratulates Mark on his weight loss and says he uses Mario Lopez’s book Extra Lean that he found a a Goodwill, and he’s lost 35 pounds!
