One of the main attractions of Bethany Beach is its pristine beachfront, which stretches for miles. The beach is never overcrowded, allowing visitors to enjoy some peaceful relaxation and breathtaking ocean views. The town also offers a variety of water activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and surf lessons.

Our friends live just about 15 minutes from the beach, in a sprawling complex called Bay Forest. On days we don’t feel like traffic or the crowds, we can spend an entire morning and afternoon walking the paths the meander around the development, or hanging out in one of their two large pool areas.

Moving onto Rehoboth, this is considered by a lot of people the ultimate “beach town” experience. Visitors find miles of well-tended beaches, a clean, bustling boardwalk, and a vibrant nightlife scene. In Rehoboth, you can indulge in eclectic shopping at local boutiques, try out the abundant seafood from local restaurants, or take a stroll alongside the sand dunes at Cape Henlopen State Park.

One of the benefits of choosing these beaches as your vacation spot is their proximity to each other. You can easily visit both places during your trip.
