UN Human Rights Council approves resolution against anti-LGBT violence

I wasn’t sure I’d see the day, given the prevalence and acceptance of anti-LGBT violence in so many other countries. The 47-member Human Rights Council voted 23 in favor and 19 against Friday, with 3 abstentions, for the resolution put forward by South Africa.
